Bentonville Council to consider change order for Square project

BENTONVILLE - It's a bit more than a month into the Downtown Square Enhancement project, and the Bentonville City Council is facing its third change order.
In a memo to the city council dated March 18, City Transportation Engineer Mike Churchwell explained "circumstances that were unforeseen but have been brought to our attention as we have moved forward with the utility portion of the project."
Included in those changes are a request for four oneinch water meter sets for the Terry Block building. Meters for the building are currently located in the basement, but the city water department has requested to locate new meters on the sidewalk, where all other meters will be located.
