Hutcheson a Burlsworth Award winner
Posted on Thursday, May 8, 2008
GENTRY - Gentry's Colton Hutcheson, an All-Conference senior for the Pioneers in the fall, is the school's 2007-08 Brandon Burlsworth Award winner, named after the former Arkansas Razorback All-American tragically killed in an auto accident. Each high school football team in Arkansas nominates a player to receive the award. Players should demonstrate drive, diligence to school and good moral character. Hutcheson, a linebacker, led the Pioneers with 114 tackles in 2007. "Colton was always there," Gentry coach Brian Little says. "To use the expression, ' He came to work every day. ' He didn't have a whole lot to say but he didn't have to. He was very dependable, very coachable and very humble. His overall character is the kind that want to see in all kid."
