Decatur
Dorothy Faddis Richardson, 82, of Decatur, Ark. died Friday, May 9, 2008, at Bentonville Manor in Bentonville, Ark. She was born Sept. 5, 1925, in Red Star, Ark., to Wesley Friend and Rebecca Collins Friend. She lived the majority of her life in Gentry, Ark., and Decatur, where she was a homemaker. She was a member of the Ever Ready Educational Homemakers Club in Decatur and volunteered at the Decatur Care Store. She was affiliated with the Assembly of God Church in Decatur and the Springtown Pentecostal Church.
She was preceded in death by two husbands, William Argus Faddis and Ben Richardson.
Survivors include three sons and a daughter-in-law, William Faddis and Terry Faddis both of Gentry, and Thomas Faddis and Tess Faddis of Pineville, Mo.; four daughters and sons-in-law, Wilma Hubbard and Bob Hubbard, Andra Hecht and Darrell Hecht and Wanda Faddis, all of Decatur., and Frankie Kelley and Randy Kelley of Bella Vista, Ark.; a brother, Andy Friend of Huntsville, Ark.; a sister, Ipha Roberts of Rogers, Ark.; 12 grandchildren and numerous great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be from 6 p. m. to 7: 30 p. m. Monday, May 12, at Wasson Funeral Home in Siloam Springs, Ark. Funeral services will be at 2 p. m. Tuesday, May 13, at Wasson Memorial Chapel in Siloam Springs with Pastor Sherman Robinson. Burial will be at Falling Springs Cemetery in Decatur. Pallbearers will be Bob Hubbard, William Faddis, Terry Faddis, Thomas Faddis, Randy Kelley, Darrell Hecht and Bobby Hubbard II. Online condolences may be made at www. wassonfuneralhome. com.
Rogers
Patricia Ann Granny Pat McDaniel Bland, 77, of Rogers, Ark., died Friday, May 9, 2008, in Rogers. She was born May 23, 1930, in Rogers to Robert McDaniel and Dorinda Blackburn McDaniel.
Patricia was a lifelong resident of the northwest Arkansas area. She married Edgar Preston Bland on Nov. 5, 1948. She was a member of the Southside Church of Christ in Rogers. She worked for Baldwin Piano and later for Model Laundry and was a member of the Epsilon Sigma Alpha Sorority.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 54 years, Edgar Preston Bland, on Oct. 13, 2002; two brothers; and two sisters.
Survivors include two sons, David P. Bland and Alan P. Bland both of Rogers; two daughters and sons-in-law, Cathy S. Patterson and Buddy Patterson of Rogers and Lynn A. Davis and Tommy Davis of Farmington, Ark.; three grandsons, Seth E. Patterson and Caleb Patterson, both of Dallas, Texas, and Jacob McWhorter of Farmington; two step-grandchildren, Joy Hutcherson of Columbia, Tenn., and Kelly Rogers of Farmington; two greatgrandchildren; two step-greatgrandchildren; five nieces; three nephews; and several great nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be 6 p. m. to 7 p. m. Monday, May 12, at Callison-Lough Funeral Home in Rogers.
Funeral services will be at 11 a. m. Tuesday, May 13, at Southside Church of Christ in Rogers with Jackie Chesnutt.
Burial will be at Bland Cemetery in Bentonville, Ark.
Pallbearers will be Seth E. Patterson, Jacob D. Mc-Whorter, Preston C. Patterson, Jeffery Neal, Jade Jones and Casey Jones.
Memorials may be made to the Benton County Womens Shelter or the American Cancer Society.
Arrangements are by Callison-Lough Funeral Home of Rogers.
Siloam Springs
Anna M. Reed, 85, of Siloam Springs, Ark., died Friday, May 9, 2008, at the Regency Hospital in Springdale, Ark. She was born on Nov. 8, 1922, in the Netherlands to Willem Roeles and Sara Kuiper Roeles. She married Jerome Reed in 1946 in the Netherlands. She enjoyed sewing and gardening. Survivors include her husband, Jerome Reed; a daughter and son-in-law, Linda Reynolds and Gale Reynolds of Roseburg, Ore.; two sons and a daughter-in-law, Steve Reed and Terry Reed of Everton, Mo. and Ronald Reed of Tontitown, Ark.; nine grandchildren and eight greatgrandchildren.
Cremation arrangements were by Backstrom-Pyeatte Funeral Home of Siloam Springs.
