Concert band receives honors

GENTRY ó The concert band earned a superior rating at a Gravette contest Sunday night.

The band also earned a superior rating in sight reading.

These are the first superior ratings the band has earned in a concert setting for more than five years, said Michelle Slayton, band instructor.

ì They performed very well and represented our district with pride, î Slayton said.
