Youth orchestra announced

The Ozarks Philharmonic Youth Orchestra's board of directors recently launched a new youth program for the tristate area.
The OPYO program will offer the opportunity for young musicians to participate in beginning and intermediate level ensembles and ultimately, the opportunity to train and perform in a full orchestra setting.
Auditions will be held Aug. 18, 23, and 25 in Fayetteville, Springdale and Rogers.
Details for the audition times and locations can be found on the group's Web site at opyo. org.
The auditions will be held before C. Flippin, OPYO music director; Dr. Er-Gene Kahng, strings; and Katie Luker, winds and brass.
