Denzil Eugene Bennett Denzil "Joe"Eugene Bennett, 67, of Colcord, Okla., died July 13, 2008, at Siloam Springs Memorial Hospital.
He was born Feb. 2, 1941, in Jay, Okla., to Charles "Butch"Bennett and Gladys Revels Bennett.
He married Sherrel Boyd on Dec. 24, 1964 in Noel, Mo.
He worked as a mechanic and bricklayer.
He was preceded in death by his parents, a son, David Bennett and a brother, Oval Bennett.
He is survived by his wife; five sons, Steve Bennett of Florida, William Bennett and wife Janet of Jay, Michael Bennett of Colcord, Ernest Bennett and wife Malyia of Huntsville, Ark., Jeffery Bennett and wife Carmelita of Colcord; seven daughters, Janice Walker and husband Anthony of Sulphur Rock, Ark., Carol Bennett of Jay, Joyce Leatherman and husband Keith of Colcord, Kathy Canoe and husband Russell of Oaks, Okla., Patricia Wolfe and husband Randal of Colcord, Marilyn Bennett of Colcord, Sandra Bennett of Tahlequah, Okla.; five brothers: Charles Bennett and wife Mary of Springfield, Mo., Herman Bennett and wife Janice of Colcord, Darrel Bennett and wife Dorthy of Colcord, Larry Bennett of Oklahoma City, Okla., Don Bennett of Weleeka, Okla.; three sisters: Emma Dean Rex of Jay, Nina Potter and husband Zack of Kansas, Okla., Brenda Deason and husband Charles of Jay; numerous grandchildren and numerous great-grandchildren.
Graveside services will be held at 11 a. m., July 16, 2008, at Butler Creek in Sulphur Springs, Ark., with Larry Ellis officiating.
Burial will follow.

He was born April 16, 1957, in Tulsa, Okla., to Carl and Olivia Dunlap Lykins. He was a plumber.
He is survived by his wife, Grace; a son: Eric Lykins of Muskogee, Okla.; three daughters: Christy Phifer of Watts, Okla., Amber Batterson of Coweta, Okla., Raven Lykins of Watts; two sisters: Sharon Lykins of Watts, and Shirley Jean Bridgeforth of Fresno, Calif.; his father and wife Carl and Martha Lykins of Watts; his mother, Olivia Mitchell of Watts; and 20 grandchildren.
He will be cremated.

She graduated from Southwest Baptist University with an associate's degree and from Missouri Southern University with a bachelor's degree in education. She was a math teacher at the Carl Junction Elementary School and retired from teaching after 20 years. She was a member of the Siloam Springs Garden Club and the Siloam Springs Bridge Club.
She created the library at the First Baptist Church in Siloam Springs.
She was preceded in death by her parents and a brother, Finis Cochran.
She is survived by four daughters, Angela Meador and husband Michael of Joplin, Mo., Lydia Paul of Kansas City, Mo., Beth Dollman of Joplin, Valerie Wilson and husband Michael of Rogers, Ark.; a son, Tom Paul and wife Jan of Carl Junction, Mo.; a brother, Walter Cochran and wife Gail of Nevada, Mo.; eight grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
Memorial services will be held at 2 p. m., July 17, 2008, at First Baptist Church in Siloam Springs, with Dick McCartney officiating.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the First Baptist Church Library Fund, 2000 Dawn Hill Road, Siloam Springs, AR 72761.

She was born March 31, 1962, in Harrison, Ark., and was married to Bobby Sanders.
She was preceded in death by her grandparents Plumer and Grace Nix, and Claude and Jennetta Cash.
She is survived by her mother, Peggy Cash of West Siloam Springs; her father, Jerrell Cash of Harrison; her husband, of the home; a daughter: Rainbow Higgins and husband Buck; two sons, Jeremy Thornton of Pensacola, Fla., and Dustin Jenks of West Siloam Springs; a sister, Brenda Strunk and husband Clifford of West Siloam Springs; a brother, Stanley Cash Sr. and wife Linda of Watts, Okla.; and three grandchildren.
Funeral services were held July 1, 2008, in the 7 C Family Cemetery with Bro. Rod Arnold officiating.
