Shannon Poore of Fayetteville and Andrew Rubin of Chicago plan to marry at 6 p. m. June 21, 2008, at the Inn at Carnall Hall in Fayetteville.
The bride-elect is the daughter of Sandy and David Poore of Pine Bluff. She is the granddaughter of Alma B. Guess of Pine Bluff, the late Vernon E. Guess Jr., and the late Jeannette and John Poore.
She has a bachelor’s degree in English from the University of Arkansas and a juris doctorate from the University of Arkansas School of Law. She is an attorney at Ball and Mouton Ltd. PLLC in Fayetteville.
The prospective groom is the son of the late Flora and Norman Rubin. He is the grandson of the late Fannie and Philip Lipshutz and the late Anna and Arthur Rubin.
He has a bachelor’s degree in music from Berklee College of Music in Boston and is an arbitrage at Bear Brokerage LLC at Chicago Mercantile Exchange.
