Claudia Jo Harp of Rogers and James Drew McConnell of Huntsville plan to marry at 6 p.m. June 10, 2008, on the beach in Destin, Fla.
The bride-elect is the daughter of Dana and Scott Spaulding of Rogers and Regina and Dempsey Harp of Huntsville. She is the granddaughter of Jackie and Carl Spaulding of Little Flock, Eupeil Harp of Bella Vista, the late Bill Harp, and the late Betty Jo and Dennis Flowers.
She has a bachelor's degree in respiratory therapy from NorthWest Arkansas Community College and is a respiratory therapist at Washington Regional Medical Center.
The prospective groom is the son of Lori and Lanny McConnell of Huntsville. He is the grandson of Gwen and Al Braddock of Cresbard, S. D., Ewellene McConnell of Huntsville, the late James McConnell and the late Nina Kellett.
He is a salesman for Warrior of Arkansas.
