Tara Lea Gurley of Jonesboro and Benjamin Houston Dye of Fayetteville plan to marry at 7: 30 p. m. June 7, 2008, at Thorncrown Chapel in Eureka Springs.

The bride-elect is the daughter of Joe Gurley of Blytheville and the late Jan Gurley. She is the grandson of the late Virgie and Jim Gurley and the late Lilla and Louis Ball.

She has a bachelor’s degree in elementary education and a master’s degree in reading from Arkansas State University in Jonesboro and is a fourth grade literacy teacher.

The prospective groom is the son of Marcia and Charles Dye of Fort Smith. He is the grandson of Florence and Conard Hays of Searcy and Estelle and Bruce Dye of Little Rock.

He has a bachelor’s degree in industrial engineering from the University of Arkansas and is a sales engineer for Trane Arkansas.
