UA International Education Week kicks off Monday

The University of Arkansas will celebrate International Education Week Monday through Friday with many activities on campus. The event is an opportunity to celebrate student knowledge and awareness of various cultures and languages.

Activities will include an international bazaar from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Monday in the Arkansas Union Connections Lounge, the International Living / Learning Community Kick-off from noon to 1: 30 p.m. Wednesday in the Holcombe Hall Formal Lounge and International Education Day from 2: 30-4: 30 p.m. Thursday in the Union Red Lounge.

Other activities include a naturalization ceremony from 10 a.m. to noon in the E. J. Ball Courtroom of the Robert Leflar Law Center, seminars and films on various cultures, workshops on studying and working abroad and an international dance party from 9 p.m. to midnight Friday in the Arkansas Union Ballroom.
