Butterfly release to celebrate Mental Health Month

Ozark Guidance will host its first butterfly release at 1 p.m. May 30 at the Gerald and Vicki Harp Park on the Springdale Main Campus, 2400 S. 48 th St.
The event," Metamorphosis: Freedom Through Mental Health," is in honor of thousands of Northwest Arkansas citizens living with mental illness who have hope for a better future. It will provide a symbolic closure to May's status as Mental Health Month.
Butterflies are available to purchase for release at the event through the Ozark Guidance Foundation for $ 10 each.
Proceeds from butterfly sales will benefit children's mental health services in Northwest Arkansas. To become a butterfly sponsor or for information, contact Mike Fontana in the Ozark Gu idance development office at (479 ) 695-1240.
Ozark Guidance is a nonprofit community mental health center in Springdale with satellite offices in Bentonville, Berryville, Fayetteville, Huntsville and Siloam Springs.
