Gerald D. Lee A quiet, kind and loyal man, Gerald Davis Lee was born on June 2, 1938, in Louisiana. He was raised in Fayetteville and graduated from Fayetteville High School in 1956. He then joined the United States Army at the young age of 17. While home for leave a few years later, he met and eventually married his partner in life of 46 years, Kiethith Deanna King.
During his 20-year active duty military career, he had several tours of duty, both overseas and at home. Of note, he had two combat tours in Vietnam as an infantry officer and commander. For his exceptional service, heroism and valor, he received the Silver Star, two Bronze Stars with V device, the Air Medal, the Meritorious Service Medal, two Army Commendation Medals and the Army Achievement Medal. Also during this time his three proudest achievements, his children, were born. (His other proudest achievements, his three grandchildren, were to come a little later. )
Upon retiring from the U. S. Army in 1976, he moved his family back to Northwest Arkansas where he then attended the University of Arkansas School of Law on the GI Bill, graduating in 1979. He practiced in Fayetteville for a few years, then opened up his own law practice in Springdale, where he and Kiethith served their clients for the next 24 years. He retired from the practice of law in 2007.
He was loved, respected and adored by his wife, his children and grandchildren and most all who knew him. His presence will be sorely missed by all. Those who knew him also appreciated his intellect and methodical nature. He loved to research whatever antique piece of glass he had his eye on. It pleased him to get a great deal on a piece of rare glassware. But his family always pleased him the most.

He is survived by his wife and life partner, Kiethith D. Lee of the home; his eldest daughter, Lt. Col.
