The fellowship will hold a hymn sing at 10 a.m. Oct. 5. Especially invited are those who used to love singing in church, but who have stayed away from church in recent years. The Unitarian Universalist hymnal," Singing the Living Tradition," provides old favorites and new, and reflects Unitarian Universalist commitment to the inherent worth and dignity of every person.
The hymn sing will be followed at 11 a.m. by worship, with religious education provided for children and youth, and with a nursery for infants. The Rev. Dave Hunter's topic is "What Is the Name of This Child ? "Hunter will discuss the nature and significance of Unitarian Universalist child dedication ceremonies.
Sermons Oct. 12: "Growing in Spirit, Healing Our World"with the Rev. Dave Hunter. A more accurate title might be "The Symbiotic Relationship between Maturational Growth and Incarnational Growth," but who wants to preach to an empty sanctuary ? Actually, it's Association Sunday, and we hope everyone will come.
