Rogers Youth Cheerleading Program Rogers Community-School Recreation Association registration for the 2008 Youth Cheerleading Program will be taken until May 10 at the Rogers Activity Center. Girls in fourth through eighth grades for the 2008-09 school year are eligible to participate.
The registration fees are as follows: $ 65 includes cheer uniform, poms and clinic or $ 40 if those who cheered last year, will be in the same division and on the same team. Cheerleader will not receive a new uniform or poms.
Each participant must have a current RAC membership ($ 20 ). The membership is current for one year from the date of purchase.

This is a four-person, bestball scramble with fun events on the course, such as the longest drive for men and women, closest to the pin, the longest putt, a putting contest and a hole-inone prize hole. Mulligans also will be sold. Shotgun starts will be at 8 a.m. and 1 p. m., with lunch served from 11: 30 a.m. to 1: 30 p.m. Individuals, teams and sponsors are welcome.
Proceeds from the tournament will go toward the development of an ecological subdivision called Habitat Trails. The subdivision will include homes for 17 families, a wetlands area and a park.

Men's levels are 3. 0 and above, women's levels range from 2. 0 to 4. 5 + and mixed doubles combinations are from 5. 0 to 9. 0.
Each entrant may enter two events. Entry fees are $ 32 for singles and $ 44 per doubles team. There will be goody bags, T-shirts, a player party on Friday night and refreshments all weekend. The camp is from 8: 45 a.m. to 3 p.m. both days and is for all skill levels. Lunch will be provided.

Rogers Baseball Camp The 2008 annual Rogers Baseball Camp will be held June 9-11 at Northwest Park in Rogers from 8: 30 a.m. to noon for ages 7-15. The camp will be conducted by high school baseball coaches Tom Woodruff and Matt Melson. Emphasis will be on self-improvement for players of all skill levels rather than competition. All aspects of the game will be covered.
Each camper will received a T-shirt and commemorative baseball camp certificate and awards will be given. Cost is $ 40 by June 1 and $ 45 after that date.

Poultry Fest run planned The Poultry Fest 5 K and 1 Mile Fun Run will be held June 14 at the Pinnacle Hills Promenade in Rogers. The 5 Krun / walk will begin at 7: 30 a.m. The 1-mile Fun Run will begin at 8: 30 a.m.
Registration will be from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. June 13 at the Embassy Suites in Rogers, and from 6 a.m. to 7 a.m. June 14 at the staging area in the parking lot east of Dillard's.
Fees are $ 15 for the 5 K prior to June 7, $ 20 after June 7 and $ 50 for a family of four or more. The Fun Run is free for children 10 and under.
