Antique Auto Swap Meet TONTITOWN - Foothills of the Ozarks Antique Auto Club 34 th Annual swap meet will be held Sept. 12-13 in Tontitown. The event will include acres of hard to find car and truck parts. Pancake breakfast will be held from 6 to 11 a.m. Saturday, Sept. 13. Sponsored by the Tontitown Fire Department. Buddy Walk SPRINGDALE - The Down Syndrome Connection of Northwest Arkansas annual Buddy Walk will be held Saturday, Sept. 13, at Helen Tyson Middle School, Springdale. Registration at 1 p. m.; Buddy Walk at 2 p.m. The Chris Burke Band will perform at 3 p.m. There will be music, games and food.

Anyone with Down Syndrome, who knows someone who does or just wants to show their support can come and join the Buddy Walk.

Writers Workshop SILOAM SPRINGS - Siloam Springs Writers annual workshop will be from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 20, at the new Senior Activity Center, 750 Heritage Court, Siloam Springs. Admission fee is $ 5 and includes luncheon and entry for Gertrude Jesser award. Inspirational poem at door.

Morning workshop prose teacher and judge will be Carol Russell from Ft. Scott, Kan. She is a published author. Afternoon workshop poetry judge will be Mary Ann Highfill, a high school English teacher of Siloam Springs. Poetry teacher and judge will Dana Watson, a high school English teacher at Siloam Springs.
