HEALTH DEPARTMENT INSPECTIONS

Information from state Health Department records for inspections Aug. 11, through Aug. 26. All reports are from regular food service / food store inspections unless otherwise noted.
• Critical violations are defined as items that relate directly to factors that lead to food-borne illness, and must be corrected immediately.
• Noncritical violations are defined as items that relate to maintenance of food operations and cleanliness.
Aug. 26 Acambaro # 13 150 Curtis, Ste. B & C, Pea Ridge Critical violations include: Raw chicken stored above ready to eat foods. Must be stored below ready to eat foods to prevent possible contaminants. Employee drinks in prep area / food area must have lids. Previously prepared food items placed in cooler and used at later date must be date marked and used within seven days.
Noncritical violations include: Meat being thawed sitting out at room temp. Must be thawed either by placing in refrigerator or under cool running water. All bulk food items removed from original container must be labeled. Leak on sink in dishwashing area must be repaired. Walls need to be cleaned, have excessive amount of grease build up and area around sink has possible mold. AC vent in kitchen has excessive build up and must be cleaned.
Pizza Hut Pea Ridge Critical violations include: Items in walkin cooler found above proper cold holding temperature. Must maintain cold foods at 41 degrees or below. Door does not make good seal when closed.
Noncritical violations include: Leak on sink next to dishwasher needs to be repaired. A few areas on the walls need to be repainted or sealed. No longer smooth and easily cleanable. Light bulb above oven needs shield or needs to be shatterproof bulb.
